Wondering if these ebikes are allowed in your area?
Good news! For the most part, the answer is no! Ebikes and more specifically class 2 ebikes fit under a part of the jurisdiction that allows you to ride it without any sort of registration papers.
Now some places will have additional laws about what types of ebikes are allowed and what certifications they need. But as for the riding portion of it you're totally in the clear.
Are they allowed to be rode in my city?
You will have to check your local municipalities to make sure that ebikes are allowed in your area. But for most of North America, they are! We will be updating this page regularly and adding any exceptions that we may find!
